VICTORIA has added another 1,377 COVID-19 cases to its tally to cap off a weekend of record high virus spread. Over 30,000 Victorians received a vaccine dose yesterday and another 67,789 people were tested. There are 12,711 active cases across the state. Across the entire weekend, regional Victoria was rocked by a slew of new COVID-19 cases and exposure sites. The government is no longer aiming for zero cases but are prepared to lock down regional areas if it thinks outbreaks are getting out of hand.
